Ingredients:
- 4 dl water
- 4 cl rum
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 slices of ginger
- 3 star anise
- 4 cloves
- 2 dl clementine and honey syrup (for this, you'll need: 5 clementines, saving the peel from 2 of them, and
- 150 g Acacia honey)
- some Srir Asker hot sauce
Instructions:
Start by toasting the cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and ginger slices in a pan, along with the clementine peel. Toast until it smells like Christmas.
Add 4 dl of water and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
To make the clementine and honey syrup, blend 5 clementines without the peel. Remember to save the peel from 2 of them. Blend until smooth, strain it into a pot, then add 150 g of Acacia honey and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Boil a small amount of water, pour it into a glass to temper it, and then discard the water.
Add the clementine honey syrup to the preheated glass, then strain the Hot Christmas brew and the rum.
Mix in some Srir Asker Hot sauce into the Hot Toddy.
Now you can choose how to garnish your drink, whether it's with clementine peel, a piece of clementine, or even by adding the cinnamon stick to the glass if you like. It's up to you!"
